Application
Gel for perigingival bleeding control that is a result of intraoral dental procedures. It is helpful during gingival retraction; eliminates bleeding without discolorations and sedimentation.
Can be used directly for bleeding control or in combination with gingival retraction floss.
It is especially recommended:
- during caries treatment,
- while grinding teeth for prosthetic restorations (crowns, veneers, bridges, inlays),
- for bleeding control while removing fragments of marginal gingiva or overgrown papilla from the interior of the cavity,
- for pulp bleeding control while vital pulp therapy; it is efficient haemostatic agent,
- while preparing gingival pocket and marginal gingiva before prosthetic or orthodontic impressions, for veryfing marginal leakproofness of fillings and prosthetic restorations (implants as well as), orthodontic band cementation and scaling; increases efficiency of retraction cord.
How to handle the product
Directions for use during bleeding control:
1. Remove protective cap from the syringe and rewind the piston slightly. Fix disposable tip ended with fine brush.
2. Use the replaceable tip to rub the gel into bleeding tissues.
3. After hemorrhage is arrested rinse tissues by air-water flow.
4. Repeat these steps if bleeding continues.
Directions for use during retraction cords:
1. Rub gel in bleeding tissues, using disposable tip ended with fine brush.
2. Place a retraction cord in gingival pocket filled with haemostatic gel for 4 to 5 minutes.
3. Remove retraction cord and rinse gingival pocket by air-water flow, dry out with an air-flow.
4. Rub haemostatic gel into gingival pocket’s bottom again, leave for 1 minute, rinse finally and dry and take an impression.
5. In case of bleeding repeat procedure.
Description of operation
HEMOSTAT® applied on bleeding area creates superficial protective layer. Bleeding stops after several minutes, which enables single session treatment without need for temporary dressing.
Storage conditions
Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of the reach of children.
Store in temperature below 25°C.
Comply with the storage conditions. Storage at temperature above 25ºC causes product’s viscosity decrease.
Each serious incident related to the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority (President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products).
