Application
Liquid for rinsing of root canals, recommended for use in every endodontic treatment. During the rinsing of the canals, the remains of the pulp and dentine filings formed during the preparation are removed.
It is especially recommended:
- during endodontic retreatment of teeth when infection is suspected E. faecalis or C. albicans,
- in the case of non-healing inflammatory changes in the periapical tissues,
- after open treatment,
- in people allergic to sodium hypochlorite,
- in teeth where there is a high probability of pushing the rinsing solution beyond the apex of the tooth root,
- when filling the canals with sealants based on composite materials.
Chlorhexidine digluconate contained in GLUXODENT® does not affect the soft tissues or the smear layer of the tooth canal.
How to handle the product
Insert GLUXODENT® into the root canal using a syringe with a disposable needle with lateral perforation, positioned so that the stream of liquid is directed at the canal wall or with the use of sonic and ultrasonic equipment.
Insert the needle on depth about 1.5 mm shorter than working length, and the product should be applied ensuring its proper outflow from the canal. When rinsing, use at least 2 ml of liquid when changing the tool to a larger one; a total of about 10 - 16 ml of the preparation per one root canal.
Rinse alternately with other means intended for canals rinsing.
