Application
Product for chemical preparation of root canals.
It is particularly helpful during re-endodontic root canal treatment; product eases reaming action and narrow canals instrumentation. It exhibits lubricating properties that simplify file's sliding and canal preparation, application into the canal is easy and it penetrates well. It reduces the risk of tool fracture inside the canal.
Indications:
- orifice exposure,
- chemical reaming-action and achievement of patency,
- intracanal smear layer removal,
- achievement of patency in case of intracanal dentinoma.
1 g of gel contains 150 mg of disodium edetate.
How to handle the product
- Remove protective cap from the syringe and fix disposable tip (blunt disposable needle).
- Using disposable tip, apply small amount of the product in the pulp chamber or directly on the instrument, and then start instrumentation.
- During instrumentation irrigate the canal with solution of sodium hypochlorite (e.g. Chloran, Chloran Plus) or EDTA (e.g. Endosal®).
- After application of the product remove a single tip and then rewind the piston slightly to remove the gel from the tip. Close the syringe with the protective cap.
Description of operation
The preparation contains disodium edetate, that reacts with inorganic debris of a smear layer (chelating effect) and makes instruments penetration easier. Moreover, Endogel® exhibits lubricating properties due to its texture.
Colouration of the product makes it more visible in the pulp chamber.
Storage conditions
Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of the reach of children.
Store in temperature below 25°C.
Keep away from sunlight.
Any serious incident related to the product should be reported to the manufacturer and appropriate agency (President of the Office for Registration Board of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products).
